He has lectured and published in two languages on topics ranging from
environmental toxic hazards, the clinical and preclinical reproductive toxicity
of lead and methanol, ethics in the conduct of medical research, labeling in the
pharmaceutical industry vs. First Amendment, and on Egypt and the Middle East.
In addition, he has presented on Islam and cultural perceptions of Arabs and
Muslims after September 11, 2001. Audiences have included American expatriates
living in Egypt, community college students, American Academy of Pharmaceutical
Physicians, youth groups, diversity advisory councils and employees of
corporations, religious and interfaith groups including rotary club, and North
Shore Senior Center (IL).
He was a Competent Toastmaster (CTM), VP elect of education of Talk of
Lincolnshire and VP membership of Daniel Wright Toastmasters Clubs (2003-2004).
He is an Advanced Toastmaster Bronze (ATM-B), a competent leader (CL) and
currently an Area Governor in District 30. He is
available for Public Speaking for
up to 200
people on topics related to Islam in the US and around the world and the Middle
East.
