Through a unique affiliation, Higher Grounds Publishing, Inc. is proud to offer original artwork of

Marie DePalma

She is an artist interested in following her own instincts.  Her still lives explode with unusual color relationships. Her landscapes produce color not usually found in nature. These ideas about making art have developed over four decades. "My work is only partially preconceived".  The skeleton of the idea marks the beginning; the execution becomes the creative part. The end produce only slightly resembling the start. When something works, it works. Artists should trust their own esthetic sensibilities. I encourage my students to "Record the inner visions of your own mind."
